Each PhantomSkinz is meticulously measured, cut, and test fitted dozens of times at our headquarters in sunny Chandler Arizona to ensure the absolute best fitting skin with a very small built in tolerance to avoid an unnecessarily complex, hair-pulling installation. For the vast majority of users, this small tolerance provides an overall better look and feel in addition to added durability. Without this small tolerance, wrinkles and overlapping film will cause the skin to lift and peel prematurely.
Our screen protectors are available in edge to edge and case friendly versions to fit your needs. The edge to edge version provides the maximum coverage, but if you have a case which covers or flexes over the glass screen, or you want a little bit easier installation you'll want to choose our case friendly screen protector which covers a little less, but prevents cases from pushing on the edge of the screen protector which will cause it to peel up.

M2 MacBook Air Full body skin
Skin fit better than expected it was fairly easy to install. Specifically the cut outs for the the ports on the side skins and cut outs on the bottom skin for the screws and other cutouts were very accurate. Overall, this skin exceeded my expectations. And I was impressed or satisfied considering the cost.

Durable Coverage
I chose the full body skin in ultra clear to skin my Starlight MacBook. I tried installation without the installation video first, and I definitely recommend watching the video- it made the process sooo much easier. Because I didn’t follow the directions perfectly, I do have some visible bubbles, but they aren’t very noticeable against the Starlight finish. Note that ALL pieces have the “stretch guard” film that needs to be peeled off from the skin itself. I really wish this would have been a transparent blue or something because it was hard to see and peel off from the smaller pieces. That being said, the level of coverage is excellent, it seems durable, I can clean it with alcohol without immediately destroying the finish of the material, and I can squeeze it in and out of an incredibly tight magnetic closure laptop sleeve without the corners of the skin peeling up, which is impressive. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase. I’ve had the skin installed for a month.
